4 days in Windhoek - what's there to do ?

Hi,

I'll be travelling to Namibia in August and find that I have 4 days in
Windhoek.

Would be very keen to get your suggestions on what to do and see.
Even a short 1 - 2 day side tour out of Windhoek would be considered
seriously (but to where?).

If anyone has stayed in the Safari Sands Hotel, do let me know what
your experience was.

"Joe's Beerhouse" or "The Marmote"

Namibia Craft Centre (also a good bistro inside)
Pentuka at Goreangabdam/Katutura (by taxi)
Daan Viljoen (by bicycle, only 25 km)
Railway Museum
