Exactly. The local trains were a nightmare before, clearly just changing
the name and applying new colours to the stock wasn't going to improve
things overnight. Have noticed a lot more of the Portsmouth-Cardiff
services seem now to be 3 car which is a vast improvement. Here in Devon
though we've now got the god-awful Pacer units to contend with... can they
not extend the Exmouth branch through to the sea and run them all off the
end?
