Default DVC Perks

I understand the feeling, and I worried a bit about the same thing
before we took the plunge. However, now that we have, I really don't
find it to be a big deal. I think the bottom line, for me anyway, is
that there is no way that a stay at a WDW, in a Disney resort (with or
without maid service) can feel like anything other than special,
magical, "vacational", LOL. It turns out that maid service was really a
small detail compared to all the perks of being a DVCer.

Also, even with the "only every few days" service, we still manage to
repeatedly find ourselves returning to the room for a much-needed break
at precisely the moment the maid arrives. (For some reason, we don't
have much luck requesting "early maid service".) So, the days when we
don't have service, we at least know we can count on taking a break
whenever we feel like it.

And even if you don't use it, it is just nice knowing that *anything*
you might want or need is always available at Disney, for a price - maid
service, extra towels, kitchen utensils... In fact, we've been very
lucky getting the occasional small extra without a fee, on a few
occassions - though we did tip well. (Never tried the extra maid
service, though.)
