It's always the drivers fault.(That's not to say the signaller won't
get some too).

If you take a route which is wrong for whatever reason you are going
to cop it.

It has happened to me at Peterborough. A failed 365 at KX meant a set
swop to 2x317. On approach to Peterborough on the Nene bridge signal I
was offered the bay as booked. I had anticipated that might happen so
I stopped behind the signal, buzzed up the box and was re-routed into
another platform. I used my loaf.
