We are leaving in a few days for a trip mostly across I-70. Frankly,
I am concerned since I see storms, floods and tornadoes reported on
the news.
Aside from all the other sage advice you have rec'd, I just want to say
that crossing Kansas and into Colorado on I-70 is incredibly dull. The
one time I did it, we played tag with one other car for five excruciating
hours! If I never have do that again in my life, I'll praise the heavens.
