My wife and I took a seaplane from Vancouver to Victoria and return last year.
We were fortunate (yes, fortunate!) enough to catch a cloudy, rainy day, so we
were obliged to make the entire flight down at 750 feet, and back at less than a
thousand. At those altitudes, the sights were simply spectacular!

And taxiing into Victoria harbor is also most enjoyable, a great view of the
hotel, etc.
