Here is one really nutty. One of the virtual airlines in Flight
Sim has a nonstop JFK to PEK. I think that JFK to PEK
would be just a bit too far for a 747-400, but the proposed
747-8, as well as the 787, extended range 777s and A340s,
and the A380 could do JFK to Beijing non-stop.
