Default Commercial / Multiengine rating, combined?

I prepared for both at the same time..
I completed all of the required commercial maneuvers in a Cherokee Arrow
Then within a month I completed the MEL requirements to the Commercial level
to include all of the instrument work previously mentioned in another post.
