Has anyone stayed at Paraiso / Camino Del Sol in Cabarete DR?

How far to Cabarete?
Walking distance?
Any recommendations about bars and restaurants in Cabarete? We like a cool
quiet environment, with an ocean view and not too touristy.
Any unusual things to do and see in this area? We've been to DR 15 times,
always in the Puerto Plata and Sosua area, never in Cabarete.
We haven't booked anything yet. We always book last minute and we plan on
leaving in 3 weeks.
