Garmin 530 VOR Approach Using GPS or VLOC I have a 430 and its connected to my HSI and to my auto pilot (piper auto
pilot)
my auto pilot will fly the plane untill it hits the ground if I let it. At
the MAP I hit "susp" and then the auto pilot will fly the missed. All I do
is set my HSI to what ever the GPS says and it flies the line. Never
disconnects. You may want to take it to your avionics shop, see if it has
a setting they can change to keep it from doing that.
